Terms and Conditions

April 2024-These terms and conditions are in regards to all work carried out by THE TRAVEL TAVERN LTD. Incorporated and registered in England & Wales with the registration number 15673232 and registered company address of THE TRAVEL TAVERN LTD, 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.

 1. Introduction These terms and conditions govern the use of THE TRAVEL TAVERN LTD's services and website. By booking our coach/minibus & driver service or accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. Definitions

  • "We", "us", or "our" refers to THE TRAVEL TAVERN LTD.

  • "You" or "your" refers to the customer booking our coach/minibus & driver service.

  • "Service" refers to the coach/minibus & driver service provided by THE TRAVEL TAVERN LTD & its third party partners.

3. Booking

  • By booking our coach/minibus & driver service, you are making an offer to hire our coach/minibus & driver.

  • All bookings are subject to availability and acceptance by us.

  • We reserve the right to refuse any booking at our discretion.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • Prices for our services are provided upon request and are subject to availability.

  • In order to secure a booking, a deposit must be paid and the remaining amount paid to the driver on the day of travel unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Additional charges may apply for extra services such as an additional stop or pickup, or changes to the original booking.

  • Deposits can be paid over the phone securely via debit card or via bank transfer.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancellations made in writing 7 days prior to the scheduled service will receive a partial refund on their deposit.

  • Cancellations made 3 days prior to the scheduled service will lose the full deposit.

  • Refunds will be processed within 7 days of receiving the cancellation request.

  • Should a cancellation occur from one of our contracted driver’s the first step would be for THE TRAVEL TAVERN LTD to do everything to find a replacement in which case, you will be notified and given details of your new driver.

  • Should a cancellation occur where THE TRAVEL TAVERN LTD is unable to get a replacement vehicle & driver for your trip, a full refund will be given to the customer within 48 hours of notification.

6. Responsibilities and customer conduct

  • You are responsible for providing accurate information regarding the pick-up location, destination, and any special requirements for the journey.

  • Our driver will adhere to all applicable traffic laws and regulations and will conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.

  • You and your party are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully during the hire period.

  • Any conduct that is deemed to be disruptive, abusive, or illegal will result in immediate termination of the hire agreement, and you will be required to disembark from the coach/minibus.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who behaves in a manner that is deemed to be unacceptable.

  • Your driver has the right to impose additional charges if in the event the vehicle has been damaged by you or your party, internally or externally or requires cleaning from spillages or bodily fluids.

  • For both customer & driver safety, where applicable, drivers are entitled to rest breaks on long journeys. Details of this can be confirmed if you are booking a long trip. It is also worth taking note where a vehicle & driver have been hired for an extended trip and involve an overnight stay, it is expected that the driver’s accommodation and food are paid for by the customer in addition to the quoted travel fee.

 

7. Liability

  • While we take every precaution to ensure the safety and security of our passengers, we will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred during the hire period.

  • You are responsible for the conduct of all passengers during the hire period.

8. Insurance

  • Our coach/minibus & driver service includes comprehensive insurance coverage for passengers and third-party liability.

  • All our contracted drivers and vehicles are licensed and regularly maintained.

9. Amendments to Booking

  • Any changes to the original booking must be communicated to us at the earliest opportunity prior to the scheduled service.

  • We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes to the booking, subject to availability.

10. Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with UK legislation.

11. Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • We reserve the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

  • Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

12. Data Protection

  • We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • Any personal data collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of providing our coach/minibus & driver service and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

  • By providing your personal data, you consent to its use in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
